No assembly required! The bench is 28” when closed and ready to use out of the box.
The bench’s telescopic mechanism extends up to 135”.
Take the panels out of the middle box, adding 1-5 by clipping them underneath.

The benches are exactly as advertised. The color is true and the benches are easy to expand but heavy to move. I plan on getting something to put on the bottom making them slide easier. Changing table to compliment the color.
Love how compact they are - one came with the sale and we purchased a second one. Our home is small, so we use the 2 benches as side tables next to a chair and sofa. They are a slightly lower than most side tables, but they were the perfect solution to replace the ones that we had!
Something's wrong at the warehouse I have not received the furniture
I already had a table at home but when I saw the Transformer bench, I thought it would be perfect for my dining room. Its everything that I could have asked for and expected. Its super sturdy and it really is made from 100% hardwood, its absolutely stunning. I use it from time to time but I need it its there, and even when I don’t I leave it a a beautiful console behind my couch.
Super high quality bench and super extendable. At one time, I probably sat around 7 people on that thing. It didn’t even flinch when people sat on it either. I saw all those ads telling me how sturdy it is. To be honest, IT IS as strong as they say. I would say the only downfall from the bench is that its so heavy. Moving it around can be difficult if you’re alone. To make it easier I added felt pads underneath to make sure it doesn’t scratch my floor and make it easier to move around.

Yes it does, all of the Transformer Bench panels are stored inside the middle box compartment.
