All of the furniture in the Transformer Dining Set™ Collection 4.0 is made with solid wood, as well as steel hardware and mechanisms. Each signature finish reflects a different manufacturing process:

→ American Walnut, Canadian Birch, Smoked Hickory, Aged Elm: Blend of Hevea wood & engineered wood sourced in Vietnam and Thailand
→ Brazilian Sequoia: Blend of Ash wood & veneer sourced in Germany and France
Simply use a lint-free dampened cloth with a touch of gentle wood-specific cleaner and wipe in the same direction as the wood grain. Doing so on a regular basis will keep your Transformer Dining Set™ looking as clean as the day it was delivered to your home.
This furniture line is scratch, heat, stain, and liquid resistant. Due to the nature of the wood materials, we highly recommend taking the necessary precautions to keep your dining table looking brand new for many years to come, such as using protective accessories like tablecloths, placemats, coasters, and hot plates to shield your Transformer Table™. Make sure to store your different Transformer Table™ components in the same living space as much as possible, and always keep them in a climate-controlled area. Optionally, you can occasionally use wood polishing oil to restore the shine of your furniture pieces. In the case of an accidental scuff, we do include a bottle of touch-up stain with each Transformer Table™ order so you have a perfect match on hand.

We love our Transformer Table. It seats our 3 children and their partners and our 5 grandchildren (13 of us) comfortably for big family suppers. The only disappointment is that the Siberian Birch colour is not solid hardwood, it is veneer.

I purchased the Transformer Table 4.0 with the bench and 4 chairs. I am so glad I did! My husband and I purchased a house that was already furnished and the table and chairs were HUGE. At first we didn't realize there was an extra leaf to make the table larger. It was SO difficult to set up that we just left the leaf in when we didn't need it. When we saw the video for this set, it fit the bill. The leaves are so EASY to put in and take out. The bench is the same way. We had our first breakfast where we put in all the leaves and it was amazing! The video doesn't do it justice. The wood is so beautiful, it is a work of art. When our set arrived the bench was damaged and I submitted a warranty ticket and they replaced my bench really, really FAST. The only thing that needed any assembly were the 4 chairs. They were really easy to assemble and they are so comfortable to sit on. If you get an opportunity to see one in person, you should there are no words to describe how incredibly well made the set is.
