Which farmhouse collection offers a round dining table?

The Gather Collection offers the round farmhouse dining table. It begins as a 48" circle and uses three extension panels to expand into a 108" racetrack oval, increasing seating from 4 to 10.Its crossbuck trestle base carries the same American farmhouse character as the rectangular Gather table, making it a versatile option for shoppers looking for a round farmhouse dining table, oval farmhouse dining table, or round trestle dining table that can adapt to larger gatherings.

Should I choose a rectangular or round farmhouse dining table?

Choose a rectangular farmhouse dining table if you want the greatest seating capacity and a longer profile for larger gatherings. Both Savor and Gather rectangular tables extend from 72" to 152" and can seat up to 16.Choose the Gather round farmhouse dining table if you prefer a more compact everyday footprint and easier movement around the dining area. It starts as a 48" circle and expands into an oval farmhouse dining table with seating for up to 10.

Which farmhouse dining table is better for a smaller space?

The Gather Round Dining Table has the smallest closed footprint in the farmhouse collection, measuring 48" × 48" compared with 48" × 72" for the rectangular Savor and Gather tables. Its circular shape can also make it easier to move around the dining area in tighter rooms. When more seating is needed, it expands into a 108" oval. In longer or narrower rooms, however, a rectangular extendable farmhouse dining table may make better use of the available space. Always consider both the closed and fully extended dimensions before choosing your farmhouse dining set.

Which farmhouse dining table offers the most seating?

The rectangular Savor and Gather farmhouse dining tables offer the greatest seating capacity when fully extended. Savor grows from seating 6 to 16, while the rectangular Gather table seats 6 to 16.The Gather Round Dining Table expands from seating 4 to 10 as it transforms from a circle into an oval. If maximum seating is your priority, the rectangular pedestal dining table from Savor or rectangular trestle dining table from Gather provides the most room for larger family meals and gatherings.

What farmhouse dining set configurations are available?

Both Savor and Gather are available in multiple farmhouse dining set configurations, including an extendable table with one bench, two benches, six chairs, or six chairs with a bench. Gather also offers both rectangular and round-to-oval dining set options, giving you more flexibility in table shape as well as seating style.

Can I choose chairs, benches, or a combination of both?

Yes. Both farmhouse collections can be paired with coordinating dining chairs, extendable benches, or a combination of the two. Choose chairs for more individual seating, benches for flexible communal seating, or mix both to create a farmhouse dining set that works for everyday meals and larger gatherings.

What is the difference between the Savor and Gather benches?

The Savor bench is designed to coordinate with the collection’s European farmhouse styling and expands alongside the rectangular Savor table. Gather offers two bench designs: a rectangular extendable bench for the rectangular table and a curved-end bench shaped to complement the round-to-oval table. Each bench includes built-in storage for its removable extension panels.

Do both farmhouse collections include matching sideboards?

Yes. Both Savor and Gather include coordinating sideboards designed to provide additional dining room storage while keeping extension panels organized when they are not in use. The Savor Sideboard stores all four Savor table panels, while the Gather Sideboard can store either the four rectangular table panels or the three panels used with the round table.

Which farmhouse collection offers the most finish customization?

Gather offers the most finish customization. You can choose between Belgian Oak or French Chestnut for the tabletop and pair either option with a Patina Black or Patina White base, creating four curated combinations. Savor takes a more coordinated approach, with finishes selected to maintain its distinctive European farmhouse character.

What is the difference between a pedestal dining table and a trestle dining table?

A pedestal dining table is supported by one or more central bases rather than four corner legs, helping create a strong architectural look and more open space around the table edges. A trestle dining table uses a supporting base connected by a horizontal structure beneath the tabletop. Savor uses sculpted double-pedestal styling, while Gather is defined by its crossbuck trestle design.

How do Savor and Gather bring traditional farmhouse style into a modern home?

Both collections take recognizable farmhouse design elements and pair them with modern extendability. Savor combines European-inspired pedestal details and substantial proportions with removable extension panels, while Gather blends American crossbuck trestle styling with rectangular and round-to-oval table options. The result is traditional farmhouse character with the flexibility needed for modern dining spaces.

Can I coordinate my farmhouse dining table, seating, and storage?

Yes. Both collections include coordinated tables, chairs, extendable benches, and sideboards, making it easier to create a consistent farmhouse dining room. You can choose a complete farmhouse dining set or combine individual pieces based on your seating, storage, and space requirements.

Explore the Gather Collection

Rooted in American Farmhouse Tradition

Inside a New England farmhouse, the scent of woodsmoke and warm cider lingers as the kitchen hums with life. When an unexpected knock brings extra family stamping in from the autumn chill, it’s the best kind of interruption. There’s always room for more at this gathering. An extra panel glides effortlessly into place, and the circle simply grows wider.

The spirit of the American homestead lives on in the Gather Collection. Solid and welcoming, each piece pairs handcrafted warmth with our signature extendable engineering that’s built to handle decades of everyday life.

Choose Your Table Shape

The Gather Collection offers two farmhouse dining table shapes, each suited to a different kind of space and gathering. The rectangular trestle dining table delivers the classic farmhouse look, with a long, substantial profile that extends from 72" to 152" and seats up to 16.

For rooms that benefit from a more open flow, the round farmhouse dining table begins as a 48" circle and expands into a 108" oval with seating for up to 10. Its curved shape makes it easier to move around the table while preserving the crossbuck trestle details that define the Gather Collection.

Choose Your Finish and Seating Configuration

The Gather Collection lets you customize your extendable farmhouse dining set to suit your space and personal style. Choose a Belgian Oak or French Chestnut tabletop, then pair it with a Patina Black or Patina White base to create one of four curated finish combinations.

From there, choose the seating configuration that works best for your home. Pair either the rectangular or round-to-oval table with Gather Dining Chairs, an extendable bench, or a combination of both. The rectangular table pairs with the Gather Extendable Bench, while the round-to-oval table is designed to complement the Gather Curved-End Bench for a more natural fit around its curved shape.

Inspired by the Farmhouses of Europe

In the Tuscan countryside, long meals unfold slowly against a backdrop of vineyards and weathered stone. Wine is poured, bread is passed around the table, and conversation carries on as daylight fades into evening.

At the centre of it all is a table with presence, built to gather people in and made to last through years of shared meals. The Savor Collection draws on that enduring European farmhouse tradition, combining a substantial trestle-inspired form, sculpted details, and Transformer Table’s signature extendable engineering for the way we gather today.

From Daily Rituals to Feasts for 16

Even in its most compact form, Savor comfortably seats six. Its substantial proportions and generous 48” wide tabletop give everyday meals a sense of occasion, with plenty of room for serving dishes, shared plates, and everything that gathers around them.

When the guest list grows, four extension panels expand the table from 72” to an impressive 152”, creating space for up to 16 people without losing the strong, grounded presence that defines the collection.

Once the gathering winds down, the matching extendable benches contract back to their everyday size, while the table panels store neatly inside the coordinating sideboard. The room returns to normal, ready for whatever comes next.

Durability in Every Detail

The Savor Collection is built to bring strength and stability to every gathering. Beneath its rich wood surface, hybrid solid wood construction and high-quality materials help support long-term durability while reducing the effects of seasonal movement in the wood.

Thoughtful joinery and a substantial frame help keep the table steady as it expands, while the heavy-duty galvanized steel telescopic rail system is engineered for smooth, dependable extension. Backed by a lifetime warranty on qualifying extension mechanisms, Savor is made to handle everything from everyday meals to a full table of guests with confidence.
