What are the dimensions of the extendable dining bench?

The Nova dining bench is designed to remain space-efficient. In its closed configuration, the bench measures 102.6 cm (40.39″) long, 36.2 cm (14.25″) wide, and 46.4 cm (18.2″) high. When fully extended, it reaches a length of 264.6 cm (104.1″) while maintaining the same width and height. This allows the wood bench to comfortably seat up to six people without occupying unnecessary square footage.

How deep should a dining bench be?

A dining bench should be deep enough to offer a comfortable seat while remaining slim enough to tuck beneath the table. The Nova dining table bench is designed with this balance in mind, featuring a depth of 36.2 cm (14.25″). This depth provides proper support for relaxed dining without feeling bulky. It preserves legroom and keeps the dining area visually open for a better flow.

How long should a dining bench be compared to a table?

Usually, a dining bench should be slightly shorter than the table it is paired with to ensure visual balance. A general rule is to have a bench that is 20-30 cm (8-12″) shorter than the table length, allowing guests to sit and stand without crowding the table legs. An extendable wood bench offers even more flexibility, as it adjusts alongside the table so proportions stay perfectly balanced.

How do I clean my wood dining bench?

To clean your dining bench, start with regular and gentle care. For everyday maintenance, wipe the surface with a soft and slightly damp cloth to remove dust. If necessary, use a mild soap diluted in water and then dry the dining table bench thoroughly to prevent moisture from settling into the wood grains. Avoid using abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the artisanal finish over time.
