How do I measure a round table?

Measuring a round dining table is simple. Use a tape measure to find the diameter—stretch it straight across the center from one edge to the opposite side. For an extendable round dining table, measure both its closed and fully extended dimensions to get a complete sense of the space it can offer. Always remember to factor in extra room for your dining chairs or bench seating. Whether you're planning for a compact dining nook or a more open dining area, ensuring a proper fit makes your modern round dining table both functional and stylish.

What size tablecloth do I need for a round table?

Choosing the right tablecloth for your round dining table depends on the desired drape. Adding 8–12 inches to the diameter of your round table represents standard overhang. For example, if your round wood dining table measures 45" across, a 60" to 70" tablecloth will work beautifully. For a more formal look with a longer drop, choose a cloth 15–20 inches larger than the table’s size. Whether you're dressing your extendable round dining table for daily use or special occasions, the right tablecloth enhances its modern charm.

General information

What is a Round Table?

A round dining table brings effortless style and flexibility to your home. Its circular design encourages conversation and makes every meal feel more connected, whether you’re hosting a cozy breakfast or a lively dinner. A round dining table set often pairs beautifully with matching chairs or a round dining table with bench seating for a cohesive look. How do I decorate a round dining table?

Decorating a round dining table is about showcasing its natural beauty while adding your personal touch. For a modern round dining table, a simple centerpiece — like a sculptural vase, a cluster of candles, or a low-profile floral arrangement — keeps the focus on the table’s elegant curves. Whether you lean toward minimalist or cozy, our Transformer Round Dining Sets offer a stunning foundation for any decorating style.

What are the benefits of a round dining table?

A round dining table offers versatility and warmth, making it a perfect choice for modern living.
