The bench does add a nice addition to seating when we have more people sitting around the table.
We do wish we could latch it when there are no extensions added.
We have noticed when sitting on it it separates very easily.

Needs a lock
There should be a lock on the seat for when you are not using any extensions in the seat. Otherwise, it slides back and forth.

Love my table. Glad I got the white glove service to bring it in and put it together. We moved to a new home and every time someone comes over to check out our new house they compliment my table.
I have a large family of grown children so I wanted something where we could sit at the table if they come over for dinner. Mostly it's just me and my husband so I generally keep it small.
