The coffee table for me was a must but I notice today (Easter) that four of our family members had the table lifted and were using it for appetizers. It was nice to see them using it. I was concerned it would be mostly storage so I was happy to use it coming into use. Thank you.

This works great as a storage for the table leaves and as a coffee table. We are disappointed that the top has what appears to be a burn scar on it. See photo. But otherwise very nice. If the finish is like the bench though, it may become a problem.

This coffee table feels really solid and the mechanisms that allow the lid to lift are very smooth. Put it together we paid extra to have the white glove service, and it was worth it. It was their first time putting one of these coffee tables together, but they said it was pretty simple once they got going. We did have a little trouble getting the lid to close at first because if you slide the panels too far to the front the metal on the lid doesn't have room to go all the way down. But my brilliant husband pushed them back and everything worked perfectly.
