Materials
The Transformer Outdoor Dining Set is crafted from High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), a highly durable material that captures the look of wood while offering superior strength and longevity. Engineered to withstand the elements, HIPS is both moisture- and weather-resistant, making it ideal for high temperatures and outdoor use. The Outdoor Dining Set also features an aluminum frame and mechanisms.

Care
Crafted from durable High-Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), the Transformer Outdoor Table is built to withstand the elements while being easy to maintain. Simply clean the surface with a cloth and water; for tougher spots, use a mild soap. Avoid abrasive solvents or harsh cleaning agents, as they can cause premature wear or discoloration.
To protect your table, use coasters, trivets, and textiles, and keep it away from direct heat sources like campfires. When not in use, cover it with a protective, outdoor-specific cover. In regions with harsh winters, we recommend storing the table indoors during the off-season for optimal longevity. -

This set is perfect ! Thank you transformer ! We bought the set to replace our big table on our deck. Most days it’s just me and the hubby, so we don’t need a giant table taking up space on our deck, but when we have the family over we need the seating. This is perfect. Pulls apart with just one person to put the leaves in, and pushes together. The cart is classy and holds all the leaves. The bench is perfect for extra seating. We chose to keep our swivel chairs. It all functions perfectly. Took some time to get, but worth the wait and the cost. Delivery was great too!

The quality of the product seems to be sturdy and of good material. It was fairly easy to install everything. Mainly the chairs just had a few bolts. It would have been nice if the table inserts had a place to be stored in the middle of the table vs trying to find a convenient location within the house.
Really the only major complaint we have at this point (only have had the table now for a week) is the extended delay in shipping. We ordered our set in Oct 2024. We were told we would get in Mid November before Thanksgiving. That did not happen. Then we were told by the end of the year. Again not even shown as shipped. Again we were told by the end of Feb. Still the product had not shown on the order as shipped. Finally at the end of the first week of March we got notice that the product had shipped and we would see it within a week. We were at the point that we felt like we had been scammed and there wasn't an actual product to be shipped.
The shipment company was great, better than most, communicated well, showed up on time (towards the beginning of the delivery window instead of after), and had no issues bringing the product into the room I requested.

But the outdoor table looks great
I also bought the bench and the bar cart holder (bar cart screws took a lot of patience to put together -- little fingers worked the best LOL)
They took a while to get here but I am pleased with the product

After only a month of use outdoor, our table is showing significant signs of wear. It feels as though it was not properly coated with a weatherproof scellant. Very disappointed with such an expensive table.
